Can I apply for more than one program?

Yes, please review each program on our web site.

If I have a roommate do we have to fill out separate applications?

No, include everyone who will be residing in your household on the application.

If I have a felony, can I apply for housing?

Yes. Eligibility will be determined when you reach the top of the waiting list. Please see the administrative plans for more detailed information.

My children live with me every other weekend do I include them on the application?

Please include everyone who will be residing in your home.

My children are away at school only home on weekends and holidays.

Please include anyone who will be residing in the home.

How long is the wait?

What would I pay?

Approximately 30% of your gross monthly income.

Are pets allowed in public housing?

Yes, with prior written approval from BCHA.

What can I bring to my first appointment to speed things up?

  • Drivers License and/or photo I.D.
  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Award letter if applicable.
